At Hotel Ch Cabo De Gata we take extreme steps and measures to ensure the health & safety of our guest, employees and business partners is always the top priority.
Our commitment to health & safety
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are following the latest advice and recommendations from the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the Spanish local authorities.
We are continuously monitoring and following the changes in recommendations and guidelines of the local governments and the local health authorities.
Our cancellation policy
We are constantly updating our cancellation policy to reflect the most recent developments related to Covid-19 and any official travel or meeting restrictions or suspensions and quarantine or lockdown measurements announced by government. Our aim is to offer you as much flexibility and planning comfort as possible.
Effective 20th April 2020, we implement the following update of our cancellation policy featuring some clarification and further explanation of existing procedures.
For existing reservations made prior to April 1st, 2020 for stays until 9th May, 2020 we allow:
- Free modifications subject to availability or/and any rate differences.
- Free cancellations
- If a deposit has been paid, we will credit the full amount for the guest to be able to redeem it with their next stay.
Measures at the hotel as demonstrated in the below pictures
- The hotel will be equipped with protection screen at the reception and bar area.
- There will be various sanitiser stations across the hotel.
- Social distancing signs across the hotel.
- Use of specialist cleaning products which are of highest standards in the industry for cleaning of public areas, kitchen and all high traffic areas in the hotel.
- All housekeeping team members will be wearing face mask , gloves and our laundries will be washed with disinfectants.
- Use of steam cleaning machine regularly in all areas of the hotel which are very effective in comparison to convention cleaning.
- No tray charge on all room service orders.
- Limited number of guest in restaurant considering the social distancing measures on first come first basis.
- Deep cleaning of room after every check our guest using ozone machine and steam cleaner.
- Onsite shop for all guest to purchase hand sanitiser, gloves, face mask.
